Nominations
The community nominates people they know who are in need of a helping hand this year.
Top 3
Our team calls and meets with nominees to assess needs, and get to know candidates' stories. We select
the Top 3 finalists and work on extensive video projects with each of them.
Voting Process
Ultimately, we don't decide the winner. Our voters do. Our vote is NOT public, but is comprised of all RDP real estate clients and donors- who make this Project possible!
A Winner is Chosen
Our voters decide the final winner, and we get started! We spend about a month planning and bidding out the most meaningful Project for the winning family. During this time, we also fundraise and seek out as many business sponsors as we can to make the Project as big as possible!
The Project Begins
Depending on the scope of the Project, we plan to kick the winning family out of their home for approximately 2-3 weeks. We provide lodging and meals with help from local business sponsors. Our team, sponsors, and volunteers work tirelessly to make sure the family comes home to a completed Project.
Welcome Home!
We gather our clients, donors, sponsors, and anyone else who wants to support the winning family for one final Big Reveal Day! We welcome the family home to see the finished product and enjoy their Home Rescue.

Every little bit helps us acquire interior and exterior supplies, find more local businesses to provide material and labor, provide care packages and hotel stays for the winning family while we work on their home, and get the Project done on time so we can bring the family home!
